High Quality Gears of War 2 Scans
These scans are from the May 2008 issue of Game Informer which features a Gears of War 2 exclusive cover story. Mine just came in the mail today, so I figured I would scan and upload it for you. The screens look much better in the magazine, so pick it up as soon as you can! I want to get this out to you guys as fast as possible, so instead of summarizing the article myself, you can read it for yourself in the scans, or, you can check the link where there is a summary of all the important points by SHOTEH FOCK OP at NeoGAF.
EDIT: Due to some complaints about the size of the images, they have been reduced to 50% of their original size in the following set. The set afterwards is the set at the original (and not as good quality) size.

This game looks, fun but Gears 1 is full of assholes and little kids now. I swear, XBL sucks ass now. MS not only wants money for eveyrhting, but doesnt even give a damn what people do on XBL (theyre feedback system is shit).

Terrible. Thankyou so much for uploading, mass respect but gears 2 looks shocking, gears 1 is like my favourite game ever but if they have chainsaw duels in multiplayer, offline weapon acheivments and bigger online game modes, then gears 2 will be the new halo 3 (i.e. a terrible sequel)

ok first off. dizzy is not a pirate he is a derrick driver. and in refrence to captain of lust i don’t think the weapons achievements are offline but you are able to check how close you are offline and while in multi-player matches

I don’t know if the PS3 is really “Fucked” but this game will be awsome when it comes out. I am also looking forward to checking out MGS4.
Can you imagine the news/media when that game comes out? Hopefully i’ll be picking up a MGS4 PS3 bundle at Costco. But, Imagine all the news that gonna be for GoW2? I can’t wait to play both. Both games should be really damn good. I am leaning more towards GoW2 though for the 2(hopefully 4)-Player Co-op.

Thanks for the scans, this game looks incredible. Not sure how the female aspect will play out, but I think its necessary or this game wouldn’t have much other than kill lots of enemies (which is okay, but some depth is nice too, plus there’s a shut-up button so you don’t have to get involved if you don’t want to). Chainsaw duels are gonna save this game, I hated how host would win a duel, thats cheap and retarded. I also like how cover can be destroyed, instead of having to wait for a faggot to finally stop hiding and poke his head out so I can snipe it off. Now standstills can be shutdown, so the match can continue and everyone can come out of the waiting lobby. Great freakin game, can’t wait…

I think that GOW 2 will have a lot more 2 offer in terms of gameplay aand stuff like that, i just hope they get rid of those online glitches and bring Carmine BACK!!!!

This game is gona kick so much ass!!! The gameplay and executios look so awsome. I can’t believe Carmine is back WTF he was shot in the head. Shame Cliff wouldn’t tell us how, but so cool!
