littlelacysurprisepageant.com

“This website for child beauty pageants has been shut down. Your IP address has been cataloged and an investigator will be contacting you soon.”

I remember reading some controversy about how there is an incident dealing with pedophilia in Grand Theft Auto IV, but chose not to read further as I thought it might be a character/story spoiler. Quickly forgetting about it, the other night, my brother and I encountered this easter egg while he was randomly clicking on websites in a TW@ Internet Café. Clicking on www.littlelacysurprisepageant.com led my brother to a page with the above message. Laughing it off and thinking that was the end of the joke, my brother surfed the web for a while longer, and logged off only to discover he had a four star wanted level. Exclaiming something similar to “How the hell did I get four stars?!”, it only took a moment for myself to realize what had happened. After quickly explaining the situation while filled with excitement on the events to follow, my brother walked to the front on the Internet café and peered outside. Two N.O.O.S.E. (SWAT) vans pulled up on both sides of the entrance, and heavily armed men got into position, enclosing my brother in a death trap. As I thought to myself about how this is one of the most hilarious occurrences in a game ever, my brother sprinted out the door in the hopes of a safe escape. Needless to say, there was nothing safe about it, as his body quickly got riddled full of bullets. As Ricky Gervais would say, “Brilliant.”

When I tried it myself, I ended up with five stars. I lasted a bit longer, but my corpse can be found floating near some docks. Below is a video of someone visiting the LCPD trap.

Real Life (Wood) Heavenly Sword

Wednesday, March 5th, 2008

Our very own member Linkin Park Fan over at Neoseeker has posted the ‘Heavenly Sword’ that he made in wood shop at his school. Here is what he had to say about it:

“Instead of making some stupid cabinet or a DVD shelf like the rest of the class, I decided to make something a little more original. I decided upon making the sword with a lot of people saying I won’t be able to make it(proved them wrong ;) ).

The sword is about 3 feet long and about 1 and a half feet high. To my surprise and others, the sword barely weighs anything. Light as a feather…”

He goes on, stating that:

“If you look closely, you will notice somethings missing. I didn’t make those parts because of either time constraints or were to difficult. And the design and burned and etched in there and not drawn on with pen.

It took me about half the trimester to fully complete it and im proud of the results.”

We’re proud of you too! It really is fantastic work.
